Laguna Verde is located inside the Arenal Nature Reserve in the department of Matagalpa.
It has a very unique micro-climate which is covered in fog for over 60% of the day during the harvest season.
This means that the farm “auto-shades” itself and does not require many shade trees.
The relatively high altitude of the farm and fog also creates cooler temperatures which help in the slow maturation of the cherries.
This coffee has a sparkling and citric acidity and is balanced with flavors of stone fruits.
