About the Cocoa
MADAGASCAR SAMBIRANO – TSARAFANDRAY ORGANIC
Sambirano cacao is grown in northwestern Madagascar. Trade winds and the proximity of a mountain range create a unique microclimate in the Sambirano River valley. Silva sources cacao directly from Tsarafandray, a cooperative located in the upper Sambirano Valley.
Careful post-harvest processing results in clean and consistent high-quality beans, with fruity flavour notes, pleasant citrus tones and hints of vanilla – characteristic of Malagasy cacao.
Producers: 47 smallholder farmers in the Tsarafandray cooperative

Flavour: Cherry and berry notes on a well-balanced chocolate base, with fresh hints of citrus in the finish
