About the Cocoa
The cacao comes from the Utcubamba Valley in northern Peru – a region known for rare local cacao varieties and a distinctive terroir.
Grown in small-scale agroforestry systems and harvested by hand, the beans are carefully fermented and gently sun-dried to highlight their natural character.
The result is a clean and elegant cacao with delicate fruity and floral nuances, and a long, balanced finish.
