Origin
Made from organic cacao beans from Kokoa Kamili in the Kilombero Valley, Tanzania.
The beans are centrally fermented in wooden boxes and sun-dried before being crafted in small batches in Norway.
Cocoa variety: Trinitario with Neo-Nacional influence
The cacao is grown by smallholder farmers on the edge of Udzungwa National Park. Fresh, wet beans are delivered and centrally fermented before being sun-dried for 5–7 days.
Kokoa Kamili operates a fully traceable and organically certified supply chain (EU, USDA and JAS).

About the Cocoa
The cacao comes from Kokoa Kamili in the Kilombero Valley, Tanzania – a social enterprise working with over 700 smallholder farmers.
Fresh, wet beans are purchased directly from farmers and centrally fermented and dried to ensure consistent, high quality. The supply chain is 100% traceable and organically certified.
The cacao is grown in small-scale agroforestry systems alongside shade trees and other crops, supporting biodiversity and sustainable farming practices.
The result is a cacao with pronounced fruitiness, floral notes, and a balanced, rounded finish.
